QLD in full end-of-year swing 

Queensland branches demonstrated strong engagement throughout October, starting with the inaugural RSHQ Quarry Forum in Mackay on 16 October, hosted by Resources Safety & Health Queensland (RSHQ) in partnership with the IQA. This inaugural event brought together 76 sector professionals for meaningful sector-regulator collaboration, with IQA NQLD Branch Committee member Michelle Lergessner playing an instrumental role.

The Far North QLD Sub-Branch followed with their popular barefoot bowls event on 17 October at West Cairns Bowls Club, where 38 players enjoyed networking and friendly competition, with the Haz-Elec Team taking home Best Dressed honours.

QLD's end-of-year calendar is in full swing: The CQLD Sub-Branch hosts their EOY Networking Event in Rockhampton on Friday, followed by the NQLD Branch Christmas Trivia Night on 7 November in South Townsville, and the QLD Branch EOY Networking Event on 3 December in Milton.
